I’ve been so excited to share this office reveal since last week when I spotted it on Pinterest. This blush pink beauty you can see above belongs to my favourite interior design team, Three Birds Renovations.
I’ve discussed my love for Bonnie, Lara and Erin – the three “birds” that make up this Australian renovation firm – in a previous post about female interior designers to watch, but today I wanted to share their latest makeover in the shape of the Three Birds Renovation headquarters.
You’ll see from their previous office tour, this style is so much more grown-up and refined. Bonnie describes the colour as blush pink with grit in it – feminine with an edge if you like.
I love the use of rattan throughout – a signature style for the TBR team – and while floor to ceiling dusky pink would normally be a little overwhelming, the white window dressings and large cream rug, break the colour up.
If we’re talking about our favourite part of the room, mine would have to be the graphic wallpaper teamed with the panelling. It’s such an unusual print and I love how it’s been carried through to the soft furnishings. This whole space is just so calm and serene.
Bursts of colour come in the shape of a deep ochre velvet armchair, and seasonal flowers, and while the office is predominantly modern in style, bust figures and quirky vases offer a more traditional juxtaposition.
From the dried grasses to the candles, and use of mango wood, you could almost be in the heart of Bali. I’m not sure I could gush any more about my love for this office makeover. If I worked in a space like this, I’d be jumping out of bed on a morning (OK, most mornings), and rushing to the office.
Whether it’s grabbing lunch in the kitchen or picking a book to read on the sofa for a computer break, there are so many zones within this open plan office I suspect it never feels too crowded.
