With so much of the high street offering pretty much the same “
Etsy is the perfect platform to find niche home decor labels you might not have discovered otherwise, which is why today I wanted to showcase 10 of my favourite brands, from furniture to accessories, lighting and more.
The Swedish Wooden Horse Company is an Etsy home decor brand founded by Cecilia and Susie in Linfield, England.
With a love of Scandinavian interiors, the duo sells the infamous Dala Horse (a must-have in most Swedish households) as well as a variety of sheepskin rugs.
In a range of on-trend colours from muted greys through to soft pinks and mint green, The Swedish Wooden Horse Company supplies sheepskin rugs from Australia and Europe from Eco-certified suppliers.
If you’re in the market for handcrafted wooden industrial furniture, then Etsy is a must-visit. I genuinely couldn’t believe the price of this vintage industrial dining table with hairpin legs (starting at £196.00) from Bilberry Handcrafted.
Based in the Ellesmere Port, each product is made entirely in the UK, with the brand offering everything from tables to shelving to benches.
Although Sew & Cloth is a US brand based in the heart of Arizona, meaning postage is potentially higher than you’d normally pay, I fell in love with their modern farmhouse cushions as soon I spotted them.
There are so many Cali-coastal prints and patterns, from monochrome to tan, blue and white, and although slightly more expensive than I’d pay for a cushion cover normal (starting at £23.00 for the Mudcloth Pillow), I really love the west coast aesthetics of this brand.
Polish homeware brand Kids Coloray is the sister label of Patterns Coloray above and offers the most gorgeous removable wallpaper.
When I first invested in removable wallpaper in my rental, there were so many people that commented on my post to say they didn’t even know it was a thing. Believe me, it’s a game changer for renters or those who want to make a temporary bold statement wall.
One of the simplest ways to update your furniture is to swap the hardware and fixtures. I discovered Plank Hardware when I was on my search for new door handles and I absolutely fell in love with these gold hexagon knobs.
Priced at just £4.95 on average, these are the perfect inexpensive addition if you’re looking to update your kitchen rental.
For travel inspired prints, this is a shop you absolutely need to book mark, especially as the prints themselves are available in not only a wide range of sizes but border depths as well.
Now I just need to find somewhere to hang these seen as every spare inch of wall is already covered in artwork.
Established by craftswoman Megan Louise, this eponymous label offers handmade ceramics where ever item has its own individuality.
Making the ideal housewarming gift, you can expect a range of kitchen and dining ware, as well as the prettiest pastel cat and dog feeding bowls. I feel like Audrey and Shirley might need an upgrade.
You can pick up this handcrafted mug with a white glaze for £20.00.
If you’re in search for a Pinterest-worth neon light, then remember the name Neon Skull.
I think neon lights like this skull are the perfect addition to an entertaining corner or over a bar cart, especially when night draws in.
If you’re looking for something a little less…halloween, the brand also do some gorgeous type neon lights, as well as custom designs.
Finally we get to something that’s been in my shopping basket waiting to be purchased for the last month.
If it catches the dream I had last night about marrying Idris Elba then it’s well worth the investment.
I hope you not only discovered some new Etsy home decor brands to visit from this list, but you’re also inspired to look further than the norm when you’re shopping. Where do you like to search for niche brands, whether that’s fashion, lifestyle or home? Let me know in the comments below so I can check them out myself.
