After my last post on beating the January blues, I had a couple of questions about the artwork featured on my walls. Now, as I live in a rented apartment, I’m not able to paint or wallpaper. I’m also only allowed to hang a minimal amount of frames on the wall so I figure, if I’m only able to hang two things, then they might as well create a statement.
This is where Desenio comes into play. I’ve been buying artwork from Desenio since it launched, with eight prints and posters adorning the walls throughout my flat. The quality and price, in my opinion, can’t be beaten. So when they approached me about adding some interest to my recent bedroom makeover, it felt like the perfect partnership.
I’d seen so many collaborations between this brand and bloggers, so for me, I wanted to showcase some more traditional prints, aside from the signature Kate Moss image and inspirational quotes. Not because I don’t love the latter, but because I wanted to highlight that this brand doesn’t just offer amazing fashion photography, but also more classic inspired pieces of artwork.
The two posters I chose to update my blush pink and mink bedroom scheme were the Boquet One and Boquet Two prints. I love the colours used in these prints and the built-in mount meant a clean finish when it came to framing them.
The beauty of this brand is that you’re able to buy frames direct from the website, which are brilliant quality and well-priced. I wanted to create a headboard effect with my chosen prints, hence going for the largest size of 50cm x 70cm (£21.95 each), and while to get this framed on the high street would easily have been over £50 each, Desenio has them available for £22.95.
If you’re a fan of these prints, or you’re looking to update your home in time for spring, Desenio has created a special discount code for Apartment Number 4 readers. The code “apartmentnumber4” gives 25% off posters* between 6th – 8th February (*except for handpicked-/collaboration posters and frame) and with only two days to use the code, I’d definitely recommend heading to the website here to take a look. There’s a whole host of inspiration, and the website even shows you how to pair your pictures together to create the perfect gallery wall.
If you’re still stuck for inspiration, I’ve picked out ten of my favourite prints I currently have in my basket ready for payday. It’s a great way to add colour to your walls without redecorating and with prices this affordable, it won’t break the bank to update every season or so.
