There are certain emails that land in your inbox which cause mild hysteria. One titled, “Invoice Paid” and two, “Anthropologie New Season”. The latter of which landed earlier last week and I’ve been meaning to share ever since.
Staying true to its “more is more” approach, Anthropologie not only inspires me for the new season in terms of which products I’m adding to my shopping list, but images like this really push my interior styling boundaries. I love seeing how the team effortlessly (I know for a fact that shoots of this scale are not effortless, they just look it) pull together room sets like the above, all the time wondering how I can achieve something similar in my own home.
Trends I’ve spotted include oversized florals, pastel furniture, watercolour prints and natural textures, although the thing I think I love the most about Anthropologie is that fact that they very rarely follow trends. They have their own distinct style, and it’s one I’d have throughout my whole house if I could.
I’ve pulled together my favourite images from the Anthropologie AW18 lookbook – called Portrait of a Home – from the most amazing mint drinks cabinet – scroll below – to desk accessories that are ideal for that September feeling.
