The one thing I missed about London when I moved back up north were those stores you could only get in the capital. Oliver Bonas had to be my favourite thing about Clapham – aside from the hot men – and I always made sure I popped in to their Kings Cross store if I was at the train station. So when I heard they were opening a branch in Leeds, it was like to home and style gods had answered my prayers. Hallelujah.
I visited the store yesterday morning before it opened its doors to the public to have a look around, taking some snaps to share with you. Located at 50 Albion Street, it’s right next to Patisserie Valerie and Starbucks so the perfect stop before some mid-morning coffee and cake.
If you’re not familiar with Oliver Bonas then let me start with a quick introduction. Stocking a huge variety of home, gift and fashion pieces, this is a one-stop shop for birthdays, Christmas presents, house warming gifts and, well, regular treats for yourself to celebrate getting through Tuesday. Although I love their clothing offer, it’s their homeware that really whets my appetite. Each piece is completely on trend, with marble, gold and pink velvet galore, and there’s a real eclectic mix from prints to cushions to wrapping paper, jewellery, personalised makeup bags, frames, furniture and so much more. If you scroll down you’ll understand exactly what I mean…
See what I mean? So many gorgeous things, it’s hard to leave empty handed. I’m currently crushing over this pink, copper and marble desk lamp above and if I had space, those suitcases would be coming home with me.
Are you a fan of Oliver Bonas? If you’re in Leeds then definitely go check it out and let me know what you think.
