I’m a big fan of winter. The cold nights, the frosty mornings, hot chocolate on the sofa – I’d much rather be wrapped up warm than complaining because I can’t sleep for being too hot. My bedroom is the cosiests rooms in my flat, and I always make sure my bed is super comfy, with a decent mattress, the right tog duvet and feather-down pillows. It’s actually the one room I spent a lot of money on when I moved in, because getting a good night’s sleep is important if I’m going to function the next day and wade through my never ending to-do list.

Last night I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time. And I think Soak & Sleep had a lot to do with it.

Soak & Sleep is a bedroom and bathroom accessory specialist, selling everything from bedding to bath robes, slippers, candles and everything in between. I discovered the brand when I made the move into blogging about interiors earlier this year and wanted to see if their products lived up to they hype. It’s pretty simple. They do.

First of all, I lit this beautiful Buttered Fig candle, which has a gorgeous rich scent but not over powering. I’m rubbish with describing scents, but the only way I can say is that this was really “creamy”. Told you I was rubbish. It burnt down well and didn’t leave any black marks in the glass which some candles do. The smell was also there this morning when I woke up, which I loved.

Before bed I put on my new blush silk chemise, which has a really nice fit, and slipped under the covers. I think the fact that I slept so well was because my body temperature was just how it was meant to be. To keep the chill away I threw over my Soak & Sleep lambswool chunky knit throw, and buried myself under the covers for an episode of Friends before my eye lids grew heavy.

I’d definitely recommend looking at Soak & Sleep, especially if you’re looking for Christmas presents that you’re not going to find on the high street. If someone bought my any of these three, I’d be over the moon. Plus, if you buy anything today you can get 25 percent off with the code CYBER25 with a minimum spend of £75.

Now all I need to do is count down the hours until I can get back into bed again.

*I was kindly gifted these products by Soak & Sleep but, as always, my views and thoughts are my own.
