VQ & EMMA BRIDGEWATER RETRO MINI RADIO REVIEW

I’ve been a huge fan of Emma Bridgewater’s crockery for a long time now so I was excited when View Quest (VQ) got in touch to see if I’d like to review one of their retro mini DAB radios, in collaboration with Bridgewater.

With DAB+ Radio and Bluetooth connectivity, wrapped in premium leatherette, my Retro Mini came in this super pretty watercolour love heart print on a cream base. It’s the perfect addition to my bedside table, and I’m a huge fan of brands which make technology more female friendly. Not only is this print beautiful, but the radio itself is small and perfectly formed.

Available in 11 colours and prints, it features DAB, DAB+ and FM radio reception, which in basic terms means you have access to the full range of digital and analogue services across the UK and Europe. Not just a pretty face huh?It doesn’t stop there because what I learnt with this radio is, you can connect to any smart device via Bluetooth and listen to your own music library. Other cable connections include a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB charging port – which means I’m almost tempted to plug this in to my car cigarette lighter and listen to it on the way to work seen as I no longer have a car aerial. No joke. The car wash snapped it off, boohoo.

Other key features include a dual alarm, which means you can have week and weekend alarms, or even his and hers alarms, a 15 hour battery life, and the ability to customise your sound by altering the base and treble. An all round good egg, and all for £59.99.

What do you think to this gorgeous little radio? Something you’d buy for your own house? I think it’d make a fab Christmas present for someone. Anyway, thank you so much to VQ for kindly sending me this, but remember all thoughts are my own and I wouldn’t recommend something on here if I didn’t truly love it.
