The presents have been bought. The cards have been written. The trees up. All that’s left to do is wrap the gifts. Every Christmas I’ll decided on a particular theme and go to town with my wrapping. From bows, ribbons, coordinating paper and tags, I really enjoy sitting down for the afternoon and making everything look pretty.

This year I’ve gone for a copper and white theme, but I know some of you might not have had time to give it much thought yet so I wanted to help you with a little inspiration this morning. From simple black and white themes, through to very expensive looking gold dipped feathers and beautiful silk finish wrapping paper, there’s inspiration for pretty much every budget. Even if you want to keep costs down this Christmas, some of the most effective wrapping ideas include brown craft paper and string. One year I even used French newspapers from WH Smiths and black velvet ribbon.
