Is it too early to talk spring? I’m trying to forget all the festive talk for a second to showcase a little preview of Sainsbury’s SS18 homeware collection ahead of the new season. Split into six different trends, there’s timeless elegance from Riviera, a fresh countryside aesthetic of Meadow and opulence and glamour of Palm House. Global Traveller, meanwhile, incorporates ethnic influences, while Helsinki offers a contemporary, Scandi vibe. Finally, the predicted trend of SS18 I’m most excited about – Havana – brings with it rich patterns and bold colours. Trust me, you’ll be spotting all sorts of Cuban influences throughout both home and fashion next spring. Oooh, there might actually be a blog post in there, showing you how to create the Cuban flair yourself.
Anyway, I wanted to start off the week with a mix of some of my favourite pieces from the overall collection. How gorgeous is the room above? That pistachio coloured mail organiser is everything. I’m also hoping the mirror isn’t just a prop and I can buy it as soon as it arrives in store come January. I love the mix of blush pink and navy – a colour combination I’d never have considered before.
You know I’m a sucker for blue and white crockery so when I spotted this range, I was like hell to the yes, get me a full set please.
I need to make it my life’s mission to find out where that green chevron top table is from?! Imagine the flatlays people…
So there you have it, a sneak peek into the SS18 collection from Sainbury’s – my favourite supermarket to buy homeware from, period. They always have such a wide offer across bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living, yet everything is so well priced. This totally sounds like an advert for them, but I promise you, it’s just because I really love the brand. Anyway, have a great Monday guys and let me know below if any pieces here catch your eye. Roll on January when we can spend our Christmas money on some new homeware bits.
