Take A Tour Around Monika Hibb’s Amazing Canadian Home

Today I wanted to take you around the home of one of my favourite bloggers, Monika Hibbs. Based in Vancouver, Monika not only takes the most amazing pictures, she also has a great eye for interiors. This palatial house has a running theme of white, cream and blue running throughout – hello, you know I’m a sucker for blue and white anything.

I love the mix of traditional design and modern touches such as the lighting (that bedroom chandelier is absolutely amazing) and the transparent stools and chairs used throughout the dining room, which works surprisingly well with the coastal feel of the rest of the house.

Monika has effortlessly created a home and not just a house, and even from just seeing the pictures you get the feeling of a warm, inviting environment. From the living room extending outside to create an entertaining area on the patio, bringing the inside out, to the use of tonal textures in the living room, every room has an element of chic. This is what a grown-up’s house is supposed to look like, right?

I’ve pulled together some pieces of inspiration for you along the way in case you’re looking to create a similar vibe in your own home. I know I’d kill to have that bed right now. And that bathroom. And that outdoor space. And that…
